The route starts from the cultural landscape of Skalluvaara (map) from where it climbs to Palopää and then onwards towards Ailiga.
The route includes a good 13km of sand and rock-based wilderness, and finally approximately 5km of asphalt. The finish line is located in Holiday Village Valle (map) on the shore of Teno.
The route is marked, so there is no need to navigate.
Children over the age of 12 can participate if accompanied by an adult.
